Up to now I have always written about software and about things which I have discovered in my journey as a technologist. I have always kept my personal views out of my professional life as much as possible. Today is different, I can no longer watch what is going on around me and stay silent.

The last couple of weeks have been very difficult, as I watched what has happened in the States and around the world.

Let me be direct and say that there has always been injustice in the world, in one form or another, and discrimination has always been rampant in our society. This has to end!!!!

I believe that any form of discrimination based on skin color, race, religion, sex, physical appearance, intellectual capability, upbringing or social standing have no place in society.

Black Lives Matter!!

We need to take care of each other, we have a moral obligation to speak up when we see injustice. We cannot stay silent!
